UX stands for "USER EXPERIENCE" or user experience

User experience is unlike something that can't be seen directly, but is noticeable when it isn't there. Unlike usability, UX is broader and less pragmatic. Unlike usability, which is only measured on a service or a platform, UX wants to understand the relationship that the user has with the service, whether it is on the side of information architecture, design or marketing. For the realization of interfaces, UI and UX are complementary and essential. On the contrary, if one or the other is put aside, the user will have a bad experience ("very nice app, but I don't know where to click so I don't use it", "I understand everything, but it's very old so it's not up to date and I don't trust it").

The UI stands for "USER INTERFACE".

The UI represents everything we see. It concerns the colors and shapes and goes up to the spacing in "pixels" between the texts and the sizes of buttons for example. It's not only about graphic design, with the aim of respecting the graphic charters of the brand's DNA, but also about the readability of the interface - for example the contrast. Regarding what we see, the providers tend to reduce the second part which is the UX, part which is less selling, because less seen.

Whether it's the development of a digital interface or a physical product, the user must remain at the center of the design. Indeed, an "ergonomic" element will not be seen, but something that is not will be. When designing a website or an app, it is important to pay attention to the same issues. For example, a red button will be understood in a certain way (user expectations).
